Benefit lipgloss for only £6

Well, £5.99 to be precise. Where? TK Maxx.
This was an awesome find for me, I love higher end brands such as benefit, but sometimes the price tag gets too much. So much to my pleasure I found a selection of benefit lip glosses (only about three/four colours) hidden away in the toiletries section.

RRP 13.99 down to 5.99

On to the gloss...

Benefit Her Glossiness A-List Lip Gloss in 'didn't hear it from me'

It's a beautiful sheer slightly pinked peach colour with copper and pink reflects.

On the lips -

I love love love this gloss, it goes on sheerly and although tacky to touch as soon as it's on your lips it evens out into a super smooth gloss which is easy to wear and perks up your lips. The subtle shimmer adds extra dimension and whilst wearing the gloss feels very moisturising.

Head to your local TK Maxx to grab a bargain if you can!

Poundland Makeup Bargains - March 5th

Round 2 of the poundshop bargains - Just can't stay away.

Allura eyelash curler
Rimmel Infinate colour Lights
Revlon Vital Radiance color extending lip pencil - 06 Pink
Revlon Vital Radiance Easy blending mousse shadow - 02 Pearl light
Rimmel metallic cream shadow - 061 Notting Hill & 014 Hoxton

Plain old curler, does the job so no complaints, this is my 2nd one.

Rimmel Infinate colour Lights - There is no colour label on this. It's a sheer sparkly warm pink which dries on the lips to be followed by the sheer glossy topcoat. The tube suggests it's a light pink however comes out clear with fine pink & some greeny blue glitter.

Revlon Vital Radiance color extending lip pencil in 06 Pink is a double ended lip liner & filler. The thin end liner and the thicker to fill in providing a base for lip colour.
This comes out a deep dusky pink colour. I love the concept of this and plan to pick up one in 'rose' if I see it again.

Revlon Vital Radiance Easy blending mousse shadow in 02 Pearl light.
This reminded me of MAC's painpot in Bare Study whilst in the shop so I thought I would get it to compare. Obviously the formulas are different, this being mousse and the mac being cream but they are similar. The mac is slightly warmer but both would definately make a great neutral shimmering eyeshadow base.

(L - Pearl Light, R - Bare Study)

( L - 061 Notting Hill, R- 014 Hoxton)

Rimmel metallic cream shadow in 061 Notting Hill & 014 Hoxton. I previously bought one of these in silver at full price (back when silver eyeshadow was THE thing) and loved it so when I saw these for only £1 for the two I grabbed them straight away.
Notting hill is a gorgeous white pearl colour that when applied to the skin reflects purple ( I tried this with Beautiful Iris shadow and it really made the colour intense). Hoxton is a bronze/copper colour which comes out really pigmentedly.
Both make great eyeshadow bases or look beautiful when used alone - sparingly to avoid creasing.

Shiny Sheers - Obviously sheer as the title suggests, very glossy & shimmery finish but easy to wear.

Vital Radiance - AMAZING, lovely and soft, glide on perfectly and feel very moisturising. The coral is more tomato red when applied but in certain light picks up the golden shimmer (also more vibrant in real life than the camera was able to pick up).

Rimmel - Ultra shimmery, but a lovely colour, more nude than pink.

Bourjois - Looks intense but applies sheerly to give a nice even layer of wearable colour. Glossy finish with a little shimmer.
